The colour selection is a representation of this idea - primary colours plus white and grey. While this could easily evoke boredom and apathy, the use of varied color mixtures in different proportions, combined with diverse painting techniques, results in pieces that are unique, balanced, and consistent.

 

The avoidance of representing the concrete and visible is not only an aesthetic decision, but also a statement; to escape from the perfectionism and pragmatism of contemporary existence.
